The automotive company, Mitsubishi, dates all the way back to 1917 when Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Company Ltd. introduced the Mitsubishi Model A. It was a seven-passenger sedan that was hand-built from the ground up. Unfortunately, only 22 were built, and the vehicle was discontinued in 1921.
Did you know that Mitsubishi also helped manufacture airplanes in the 1930s? Mitsubishi Heavy Industries was established in 1934, and the company focused on building planes, ships, railroad cars, and other machinery.
